As Art Director for the hit kids show The Big Comfy Couch I created the Big Couch in question. Our shop built and installed all the sets for the series.

Bringing Karen Valleau's wonderful design illustrations into three dimensional reality was a challenge but I feel we captured the soft edged whimsy of her sketches. Karens Design went on to win a Best Set Design Daytime Emmy in 2007 .
